Optimizing information and communication technology applications in chemistry learning

Information and communication technology (ICT) is crucial to the educational growth of any country academic interactions collaborations students. The study determined extent ICT application in chemistry instruction Anambra State, Nigeria, secondary schools. This uses a descriptive survey. A total 133 students 12 teachers as samples. t-test was used test research hypothesis. study's findings revealed low teaching learning Nigeria. Moreover, both agree that applied for also use outdated computers; lack technical assistance; time; computer hardware/software; electricity; broken down internet or slow connectivity, high cost computers are some challenges while provision/maintenance adequate software hardware, exposure workshops conferences provision uninterrupted services power supply by government among others were proffered possible strategies eliminate these challenges.
